1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using tvshadow.com and our statistics course services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HK SAR) of the People's Republic of China, and all other applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use our services.
2. Services Provided
TV-Shadow.com provides digital statistics course services, including access to course materials, video lectures, quiz assessments, learning forums, and online tutoring support. All course content is provided "as is," and availability may vary based on your subscription plan, network performance, and compliance with HK SAR laws and regulations.
3. User Accounts
To access our services, you may be required to register an account. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information during registration and to maintain the security of your account credentials (including usernames and passwords). You shall be solely responsible for all activities conducted under your account, including any unauthorized use by third parties. You agree to notify us immediately via the contact information provided in Clause 13 if you become aware of any unauthorized access to or use of your account.
4. Payment and Subscription
Our statistics course services are provided through prepaid subscriptions. By purchasing a subscription, you authorize us or our authorized payment providers (compliant with HK SAR payment regulations) to charge the applicable fees to your selected payment method. All sales are final and non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing or required by HK SAR mandatory laws.
5. Acceptable Use
Users must not misuse the service, including but not limited to:

Sharing login credentials with any third party

Reselling, redistributing, licensing, or renting any course content (e.g., video lectures, materials) to any third party

Using the service to share illegal content, infringing content, or copyrighted materials without prior written authorization from the relevant rights holders, in violation of HK SAR copyright laws

Attempting to reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or disrupt our learning platform, related systems, or network security, in violation of HK SAR cybersecurity laws

Engaging in fraudulent behavior in course assessments (e.g., cheating in quizzes/exams) or providing false information to access our services

Using the service in any manner that violates HK SAR laws, regulations, or public order and good morals
6. Intellectual Property
All course content (including but not limited to video lectures, textbooks, quizzes), branding, logos, designs, software, and other intellectual property rights on TVShadow.com are the exclusive property of TVShadow or licensed to TVShadow by educational content providers. These intellectual property rights are protected by HK SAR intellectual property laws (including copyright laws, trademark laws) and international conventions. You may not use, reproduce, modify, distribute, display, or transmit any such materials without the express written permission of TVShadow or the relevant rights holders.
7. Service Availability
We strive to keep the learning platform and course services online 24/7 but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure access. Downtime may occur due to scheduled maintenance, system updates, technical failures, network issues, or external factors beyond our reasonable control (including compliance with HK SAR legal or regulatory requirements). We shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from such downtime or service interruption, except as required by HK SAR mandatory laws.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by HK SAR laws, TVShadow.com and its directors, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising from or in connection with your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of learning progress data, service interruption, inability to access course content, loss of profits, or any other pecuniary loss. This limitation of liability shall not apply to damages arising from our willful misconduct, gross negligence, or violation of HK SAR mandatory laws.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account access immediately without prior notice if you violate these Terms, abuse the service, breach any HK SAR laws or regulations, or engage in any conduct that we reasonably believe is harmful to our interests or the interests of other users. You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account or by contacting us through the channels provided in Clause 13. Upon termination (whether by us or you), your access to the course content and all services shall cease immediately, and no refunds shall be provided except as otherwise stated in these Terms or required by HK SAR mandatory laws. All provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including but not limited to Intellectual Property, Limitation of Liability, Governing Law) shall continue to apply.
10. Privacy and Data Protection
Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486 of the Laws of HK SAR) and its amendments, and other applicable HK SAR data protection laws. We shall collect, use, store, and transfer your personal data only for the purposes of providing our services to you, with your prior consent (where required by law). You have the right to access, correct, amend, or request the deletion of your personal data in accordance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) and our Privacy Policy. For any inquiries regarding your personal data, you may contact our Data Protection Officer (DPO) via the email provided in Clause 13.
11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HK SAR) of the People's Republic of China. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms, including the existence, validity, interpretation, performance, breach, or termination thereof, shall first be resolved amicably through negotiation between you and us within 30 days of the dispute arising. If the dispute cannot be resolved amicably, such dispute shall be submitted to the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC) for arbitration in accordance with the HKIAC Administered Arbitration Rules in force at the time of the application for arbitration. The seat of arbitration shall be Hong Kong. The language of arbitration shall be English. The arbitral award shall be final and binding on both parties and may be enforced in any court having jurisdiction thereof, including in accordance with the New York Convention and the arrangements between HK SAR and other jurisdictions for the recognition and enforcement of arbitral awards.
12. Changes to the Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time in accordance with HK SAR laws. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. We may, at our discretion, notify registered users of such changes via email or through their accounts. Your continued use of the service after the updated Terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must cease using our services immediately.
